Learn to make herbal products that are valuable tools for self care of the body, mind and spirit!
This two-hour makers workshop will cover ways to address feelings of sadness, being overwhelmed, stress, poor sleep patterns and fatigue. It will include physical self-care tips, exercises, herbal recipes, resources as well as several herbal formulas that will be made in the class. We will also talk about the role of caring for others, and how it impacts our ability to care for ourselves.
Take a break and focus on your own self-care for the night. Taught by Suchil Coffman-Guerra, we will talk about sleep and fatigue, supportive foods and teas to help with restore balance, self massage and centering breathing techniques and more.
An additional segment will focus on those who provide care for the elderly, for special needs children and for illness.
Students will make a honey elixir, steam inhalation and medicinal herbal tea blend with materials we send out.
Materials will be shipped to students in the US. International shipping is not available for this workshop. International students can request a list of herbs we will be using to source locally.
